Information We Collect

Device Permissions & Why We Need Them
Prominent Disclosure — Location Access

This app requests access to your device's precise location only while the app is open and only after you deliberately enable the location-sharing toggle. Location is used solely to display your live position on your digital business card for your workspace administrator.

We never access your location in the background, when the app is closed, or without your explicit action. Location data is never shared with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party outside your organisation.

How We Use Your Data
  • To operate, maintain, and improve the application and its features.
  • To generate, share, and manage your digital business cards.
  • To allow your organisation administrator to view team location logs and manage cards.
  • To schedule meeting reminders and sync calendar events to your device.
  • To send you push notifications about contacts and calendar updates.
  • To detect bugs, prevent fraud, and ensure application security.
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Data is shared only in these limited cases:

  • Your Organisation — Your workspace admin can view card data and the location logs you choose to share.
  • Service Providers — Trusted vendors (hosting, analytics, push notifications) who are contractually bound to protect your data and may not use it for any other purpose.
  • Legal Requirements — If required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of users and the public.
  • Business Transfers — In the event of a merger or acquisition, your data may be transferred with prior notice to you.

Data Security

All communication between the app and our servers is encrypted with SSL/TLS. We apply industry-standard technical and organisational safeguards including access controls, encrypted storage, and regular security reviews to protect your information from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

No system is 100% secure. If you discover a vulnerability, please report it to info@ansoftt.com and we will respond promptly.

Your Rights & Choices
  • Access & Correction — Request a copy of your personal data or correct inaccuracies by emailing us.
  • Account Deletion — Request deletion of your account and all associated data. Email info@ansoftt.com and we will process it within 30 days.
  • Permission Revocation — Go to Settings → Apps → ANSOFTT DC → Permissions to revoke camera, microphone, location, contacts, or calendar access at any time.
  • Notification Opt-out — Disable push notifications in your device settings at any time.
  • Data Portability — Request an export of your data in a machine-readable format.

Children's Privacy

ANSOFTT DC is intended for professionals aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately. If you believe a child has created an account, please contact us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Effective Date at the top and notify active users via push notification or email for material changes. Continued use of the app after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
